Yim Jaebum (임재범) is a Korean Rock Vocalist.
This page is dedicated to the great singer Korea has ever gave birth to. Since his appearance in the hit show "I'm a singer" (나는 가수다) on MBC, with only 4 appreances (only 3 episodes of performance) he has taken the show by storm, became front page news, and made many people shed tears just by his singing. He is finally getting dome credit for his uncomparable talent, real popularity and the much deserved proper respect from the Korean people.

So, the people now gives the man some credit huh ? Only a few Rock fans knew his legacy as the very first Heavy Metal vocalist in Korea - Recording the monumental song :"With the radio turned up high" with SINAWE (시나위) in 1986 - and some music fans knew him as a pop singer who refuses to be "popular", with a Bohemian soul.
To me, he has always been "The One and ONLY" - Ever since listening to that very song mentioned above as a little kidd-o. No artist (Korean) ever even came close to his place since.
He is unarguably the best Metal-Rock-Pop singer in Korean music history. He's done it all and nailed'em all. He can sing anything and delivers everytime. Of course, there are more national "people's singers" that almost every Koreans love, but in my view he is "the one" and the greatest vocalist of all time. His voice and stage presence has a character that no one else posseses, and simply uncomparable.
There are many info on him in Korean webs and now he is a household name. But this page will present everything in English for the music fans around the world to know about the Korea's No. 1 Metal vocalist and also know his true legacy, his roots that is : Metal. With all the bands he sang in with detailed stories. Moreover, a general view at the early years of Korean Metal scene.
The music files and early pictures posted on the allianced Myspace pages are directly from personal collections only (and some snatched from the web.) Either ripped or scanned. They are all out of print, be it records or magazines.
No intension for copyright violation, but if there is a claim from the rightful parties and proved to be legit, they will be taken down. The rest are just plain and already public info that exsists in the Korean web. The videoclips will just be pulled from Youtube.
The one who writes this has absolutely NO relations with the singer himself, his management or staff, or anything else with the Korean Music industry. Just a longtime fan since his debut in 1986. Also, NOT a member of his fan club (the term "fan cafe" is more used in Korea) or any other "groups". Just a loyal supporter who has nothing but respect and manic fandom for his music, collects his records but decides to hides in the shadows.
